I am linking up with First Grade Nest for a great linky! My day wasn’t that interesting today – so I promise a better day next time!
My day at school started at 7.30am as I carried in my computer bag, school bag, lunch bag, hand bag and a new shelf! Organisation in my room has been driving me crazy (we have furniture in our rooms when we move into them, and don’t tend to bring in our own) so R has been making shelves for me. I had a new one to take in this morning so put in on the shelf straight away and organised it. Finally one of my kids does not have his tub on the floor anymore!
After some quick spelling at 9am, we started our reading at 9.15am and went into our Daily 5.
At 12.30 I had an hour time release and spent it finishing off a speech for assembly tomorrow for children to give (I am one of the teachers in charge of the Student Action Team) and doing some correction. Nothing exciting!
After lunch we had a quick camp meeting (we are going next week!) and then we finished our stubby holders for fathers day. Luckily the textas worked really well on the stubby holder.
I left school at 5.10pm – not too bad, with no meeting after school today, I was able to get a bit of work done!
When I left school, I needed to go to Big W to get a few things, it was pouring rain when I went in and then was greeted by a rainbow when I came out! A nice surprise (but very grey looking clouds!).
Home, dinner, cutting out some fraction games that I laminated today – some TV watching and in bed by 9.30pm. That is my day done!

Laughing at your bags opening…I relate totally to this! Don't you hate it when you take something home because you want to work on it, run out of time, then take it back again. I loved your flower clock idea. I am going to do this too.
With thanks for the laugh.

I know this is a silly thing to observe, but I am lovin' those student chairs. They look so comfy. I am glad to know that everyone else is just as busy as me. Thanks for sharing.

I love this little look into your day! I have an office for my desk (sometimes I wish it was actually in my classroom) and it looks just like yours – I'm glad I'm not the only one that makes piles haha
