Another month has rolled it’s way around! I am linking up with Farley at Oh’ Boy 4th Grade for another currently.
So here we go!
I am loving that it is the holidays and spending a few days relaxing at my parents house where it is cold, it rains and the hills are green (so different to where I live now!)!!!! Mum and Dad often see wildlife, but the wallaby we saw an hour ago took us by surprise, I wish they didn’t hop quite so quick, I didn’t even get a pix!
What girl doesn’t want a whole new wardrobe, but I know it is definitely not going to happen but I can dream! (Actually needing should be to do some exercise, but blog hopping is so much more fun!)

I'd love to visit Australia some day! The wildlife intrigues me!
What's Working This Year?
It is so different from other countries, definitely!
It sounds like you have a nice place to enjoy your holidays!

Everybody needs a small country town break occasionally!
Enjoy your holidays! A new wardrobe does sound nice.

Thanks! I think everyone would want a new wardrobe!
A wallaby! That must have been so cool! I hope you are having a great holiday! I found your blog through Farley and I am so glad I did! I am your newest follower! 🙂
Fashion Craze Learning Days
It was cool, we usually see Koala's, lizards, snakes, spiders – all the usual, but not wallaby's!
Enjoy your holidays – reading blogs and shopping would be two fantastic activities to enjoy.
Thanks!
I am so excited I found your blog. I love learning things about other countries and have been a fan of Australia ever since I became friends with a foreign exchange student my senior year of high school. Also, my district has taken on the Common Core Standards (new national standards) and we focused on really learning the English Language Arts standards this year. Next year we are going to focus on math standards. I look forward to learning some great ideas from you and your blog. 🙂

Australia is a great country! We have recently started our national curriculum too so I have been checking out the differences between ours and the Common Core Standards.
I would so love to visit it someday.
I am intrigued to see the differences between our standards, also.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower.
Chat with you soon. 🙂

Found you through Farley's rule of 3! Enjoy the rest of your holiday! Can't wait to learn more about your blog and students in Australia! I am your newest follower!

Thank you!
Alison,
I just found your blog through someone else's blog. 🙂
What month is it in Australia? I saw where you said it's the holidays. That is SO neat that you saw a wallaby!!
I lived and teach in a small country school in Alabama-the southern part of the US. It was in the 70s today! 🙂

Hi Shannon! It is April just like for you, both it is Autumn. We are always the opposite! Our school year starts in January and finishes in December and we get 2 weeks holidays every about 10 weeks so that is what we are in the middle of right now!
Alison
I'm laughing out loud at myself right now. When I started typing my comment I originally put what season, then erased and changed it to month. Duh! 🙂
So neat to have found your blog across the world!!
Shannon
Haha! No worries! We all have those days!
Hahaha I love that you so seriously answered "It's April just like for you" Shannon I love that you're laughing out loud- you just made me laugh too!
I'm your newest follower- Mrs O just sent me your way because I'm "down under" too- in New Zealand 🙂
We're not on holiday for another two weeks 🙁 Although the one good thing is that we just had five days off for easter which normally falls in the holidays for us! The only one we miss out on this year is Anzac Day- that's in the middle of our break.
What's the temperature there? It's only just started to get slightly chilly here but it's definitely not time for the fire yet- nothing better than the crackle of wood burning though!

Magic Mistakes & Mayhem
Hi Serena,
How lovely to have someone visit my blog from over the Tasman! I am now following you too! Another week of holidays to go for us, then back to school. Temperature is going up and down at the moment – days are not bad, a few have been pretty cold (below 20 degrees! haha!) – fire required in the mornings and at night!
