I don’t think I have ever blogged about my addiction with Book Club. It was one of my favourite things as a child, Mum always let us buy a book each Book Club – I loved getting the magazines, waiting for my brand new book…. waiting… and then it would arrive. Hmmmm the smell of a new book!
Well my addiction to Book Club has continued as a teacher – I buy presents for friends who have kids, presents for myself and teaching resources. At my Australian Schools, the bonus points go back to the school, but I loved spending those at my US schools too! Come on, admit it, you love Book Club too!
This month I spent $99 and I was so excited! I have wanted a magnetic linear clock to teach time duration for ages and also some magnetic base 10 blocks! Now I have both! I got a couple of books and some stickers too, but this is what I was most excited about! All the girls were crowding around checking out what I had…..
The other great news is today I got wireless internet! Woo Hoo! I am always having problems with my internet running out (I only got 4GB a month on a wireless USB) now I get 200GB! I won’t know what to do with myself! This means everything is fast, I can spend as much time on pinterest as I want and download clipart until my heart is content!
LOVE a day of celebrations!

I have a very bad addiction to Book Club! I also have that magnetic base ten set (I bought it last year) and my Grade 1s love using it.
Haven't seen the clocks, but I do have a giant, magnetic Australian Money set. 🙂

Oooo I would love some coins! Glad I am not the only one!
I love getting the magazine and then circling everything I want and then having to go back and cross out the things that I can't afford……then I forget to put the order in, haha!

Hehe, we now sit down in class and spend 10 minutes circling everything we want! Me and the kids! The parents must hate me!

Oooo fantastic Paula – then you highly recommend!
Another Book Club addict here! However I don't do as many orders as I used to. Our school has two Book Fairs during the year, and many parents wait to buy books from that. I am in need of some new books for my classroom, so I may need to do them again!
I love the time manipulatives! I need one of those number lines!

I am *patiently* waiting for my order to arrive at school – I can hardly contain my excitement!! I only ordered a few books this time but have a very long wish list which seems to get longer and longer with each issue hehe
