Week 4 of Math Game Monday is here!
This game is a spin-off of a game that used to be on TV in Australia called Celebrity Heads. Called Celebrity Numbers, children guess the number written above their head by asking questions. The rest of the class, the audience, are only allowed to answer “Yes” or “No”.
Here is a picture of my kiddoes playing it!

I loved Celebrity Heads on Hey Hey It's Saturday – none of the kids know that game, but love this one!
I am going to use this with my fifth graders. I think I will allow them to give multiples of the number, factors that make it, tell whether it is prime or composite…look at all of this adapting I am thinking of! You inspire me!
Great idea Mrs O! If I ever had to teach upper school again, I would definitely want you by my side! xx
Thanks for sharing. We play the same game in class but call it 'Number Head' and use post it notes on foreheads. I like the idea of using the whiteboard and having the children sitting down.
Thanks Su Anna! It is so great for teachers to share and get different ideas! I love blogging!
Brilliant!! Can't wait to use this game with my Primary 4's!
Great! Don't forget to call back every Monday for a new game! Alison
