Looking for a number worksheet that will quickly and easily teach your students numbers 1 to 10? Look no further! These foldable books are perfect for teachers who want an easy prep activity, students who need a little extra fun and practice with numbers, and anyone looking to develop their number sense. In this blog post, we’ll discuss what makes these number worksheets so great, how you can use them in your classroom and give you a free sample (make sure you read right to the end!).
These number worksheets (1 to 10) are great for your students to practise and develop their understanding of numbers. Best of all, they are not just worksheets, they are foldable books! Perfect for sending home with students at the end of the day!
There are 4 mini pages for students to complete with each number including:
- Tracing the number
- Identifying numbers before and after
- Colouring the number of objects
- Drawing that number of objects
- Tracing over and writing the number as a word
The perfect independent activity for students to do while you are testing or working with a small group.
When beginning to read, write and understand numbers, it takes our little learners lots of practise and multiple exposures to the same ideas. We don’t want to confuse them! So I have duplicated this worksheet for every number between 1 and 10. There are two revision pages that include numbers 1 to 5 and 6 to 10 to do also.
How to Use The Foldable Number Worksheet
My goal, when sharing my resources with other teachers, is to always make life as easy as possible for teachers. So using these foldable number worksheets is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Print off the number worksheet you want your class to complete (or differentiate for students depending on what number they need practise with).
- Copy off the number worksheet for each student.
- Slice around the outside dotted lines so students will be able to make the perfect foldable book.
Some students may work better completing each section of the foldable book before folding the worksheet. Others may prefer to complete the number worksheet as a book.
Teach the students how to fold the book themselves, by folding along the LONG middle line first, then fold the paper in 2.
