Recently, Julie from The Hip Teacher mentioned me in her blog post (check out her blog if you haven’t already). Since then I have been overwhelmed by the amount of traffic my blog has received, comments and have also sold more things in TpT! How exciting! As a BIG thankyou to Julie, I would like to offer her anything for free from my TpT site – anything she would like! So let me know Julie!
I had been putting so much work into TpT items and writing up blog posts, but my traffic wasn’t increasing much, I was getting a bit sad that I was doing something wrong, but then after all the positive comments yesterday, obviously, people just don’t know about me!
That got me thinking, I would love to find some more third grade blogs – does anyone have any suggestions? If you are a 3rd Grade blogger, let me know! So many people have such great ideas and I would love to find more of them!
Also I just thought I would put it out there, if anyone is interested in mentioning me on your blog, and show me some bloggy love, just like Julie did, I would email you ANYTHING from my TPT for FREE! Your choice! I would of course give you a shout out also – even though I don’t have many followers yet – you never know!
Thanks so much!

I was one of the people who received your Calendar Discovery as a freebie from commenting on your blog. I only heard about your site because somebody I follow on Pinterest pinned that Calendar Discovery is a freebie for a short time. I am obsessed with all the teaching ideas on pinterest and it introduces me to all these great blogs (including yours) that are out there. I "think" I'm following you on Pinterest? There's only one Alison Hislop on there. If so, then you know that there's a whole world of teachers and bloggers on there. I myself am not a blogger, but love reading teacher blogs. Anyways, maybe pinning more of your TpT items or posts from your page may lead to more traffic? I mean I just discovered you yesterday, and I'm sure I'm not the only one 🙂 (TumblrVent on Pinterest)
Hi Lorna,
Thanks for the advice. It was interesting that you heard about my blog through pinterest – thanks for letting me know! Thanks for following me!
Thanks,
Alison
Thank you so much, Alison! I am so glad that more people are following your awesome blog!
